MELROY L. STIEBS
WAUPACA, WI Age 73 – died on Monday, November 21, 2005 at the Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. He was born on December 15, 1931 in the Township of Little Wolf, Waupaca County, WI, a son of the late Herman and Pelma (Diemel) Stiebs. He married Yvonne Marquardt on June 11, 1955 in Waupaca, WI. She preceded him in death on December 31, 2003. On October 22, 2005 he married Marjorie Redman in Waupaca, WI. Melroy is survived by his wife: Marjorie, three daughters: Sharon (Tim) Koeppler of Waupaca, Laritta (Rick) Anderson of Waupaca, and Charlene (Randy) Marquardt of Manawa, two step-daughters: Debbie Schneiderwendt of Waupaca, and Susan Stevens of Almond, grandchildren: Shena Koeppler, Erica (Corey) Durrant, Andy Koeppler, Jodi Anderson, Lynn Anderson, Jacob Timm and Michelle Timm, a step-grandchild: Fawn Klemm, four great grandchildren: Jonathan, Alexis Yvonne, Alihas, and Cylus, and twin step-great grandchildren: Colton and Kevin. He is further survived by two sisters: Janette Hines of Colorado, and Marlene (Wayne) Wilcox of Appleton, four brothers: Leroy (Grace) Stiebs, Larry Stiebs, Milford, Stiebs, and Harton Stiebs, all of Manawa, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Yvonne, a son: David Stiebs, his parents, and a brother: Edward Stiebs. Melroy had farmed in the Waupaca area for many years. He had owned and operated Ma’s Bait and Tackle in Fremont for about eight years. He had also done carpentry work for many years. He had served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Post # 10407 in Weyauwega. Melroy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. He had enjoyed fishing and traveling. A funeral service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca, WI on Friday, November 25, 2005 at 10:00 AM, with the Reverend Sean Motley, officiating. Interment will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Twp. of Little Wolf, Waupaca Co., WI. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Thursday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, and at the church on Friday morning, one hour prior to the time of the funeral service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
