Melvin "Butch" Lucht's Obituary
Melvin W. "Butch" Lucht, age 78, of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born in the Town of Oconomowoc, Waukesha County on May 9, 1939, the son of the late Melvin and Mildred (Lembke) Lucht Sr. On June 18, 1960, Butch married Bethel Klomfar at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church. Butch was involved in the milk business from little on. His father was a milk hauler and as soon as Butch was old enough to drive the milk truck, he drove on weekends and summers. He worked for AMPI and then Foremost Farms until he retired in 2000. When he retired, Butch & Beth followed their longtime dream to move to the Wild Rose area. Butch is survived by his wife: Beth Lucht, Wild Rose; his children: Kevin (Lisa) Lucht, Horicon, WI; Brenda (Ross) Lorenzon, Stone Bank, WI; Keith (Tracy) Lucht, Hartford, WI and Becky Kneip, Greenville, WI; his 8 grandchildren: Shelly, Jacob, Josh, Jarod, Jordan, Mackenzie, Aaron & Trevor; his great grandson: Jaxon; a brother: Gene (Marlene) Lucht, Stone Bank, WI and a sister: Donna (Tim) Klink, Stone Bank, WI. Butch was preceded in death by his parents. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, July 27 at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville, WI with Reverend Rick Engen, officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Stone Bank, Town of Merton, WI. Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Saxeville. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. John's Lutheran Church.
