MELVIN T. STEA
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 72 passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. He was born October 31, 1935 in Wautoma, WI; son of Peter and Bernice (Olson) Stea. On October 6, 1961, Mel married Arolene J. Johanknecht in Waupaca, WI. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2007. Mel served in the U.S. Army from April 11, 1956 – February 12, 1958. He had worked at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King for over 35 years. Mel is survived by:
Daughter: Peggy (John) Kenowski of Waupaca, WI
Grandchildren: Nate, Adam, Adam, and Joe
Sister: Pat (Jim) Kolka of Wild Rose, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Bernice Stea, wife, Arolene Stea, daughter, Susan Stea, and an infant brother. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the Victory Church in Waupaca. Reverend Philip Thompson will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be at West Holden Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Wautoma.
