Meta G. Kaap's Obituary
Mrs. Meta G. Kaap, age 85, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 5th, 2007. Mrs. Kaap was born in Athens, Wisconsin on September 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Christ and Paulina (Steinke) Heldt. On July 11, 1953, she married William E. Kaap in Milwaukee. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin. She is survived by her Husband of 53 years: William E. Kaap, Waupaca; Children: Leslie (Dorothy) Kaap, Milwaukee; Patricia (Phil) Feder, Pickett, WI.; Jacalyn (David) Smith, Wyoming, MI; Pamela (Dan) Daining, Caledonia, MI; William C (Elizabeth) Kaap, West Bend; Grandchildren: Kelly Mathis; Alison Kaap; Erin Kaap; Ryan Rogers; Ashley Kaap; Faren Strnad; Sister: Ruth Gitzel, Ripon; Brother: Elmer Held, Loves Park, Illinois. She was preceded in death by Brothers: George, Art, Herbert & David Held, and One Sister: Lydia Duerr. The Funeral Service will be held at First Assembly of God Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 9th, with Reverend Bob Bohn officiating. Interment will be in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Monday 5-8 P.M. at Holly Funeral Home-Waupaca and Tuesday 12:30-1:30 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Bethany Home and Theda Care Hospice for the love and care given to Meta while she was a resident.
