Mia (Oma) Kelderman's Obituary
Mia (Oma) Kelderman, age 78, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. Mia was born in Venllo, Netherlands on January 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Johan and Antonia (Megens) Robbers. On Feb. 3, 1951, Mia married Johannes (Johan) Kelderman in Nymegen, Holland. Mia and Johan immigrated to the United States in 1957. Together they owned/operated the Windmill Restaurant for many years. Mia is a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Waupaca. Mia is survived by her children: Lisa (John ) Morgan, Scandinavia, WI; Mary Ann (Daniel) Melchert, Seymour, WI; Michael (Judy) Kelderman, Orono, MN; her grandchildren: Joshua & Erin Morgan; Luke & Danielle Melchert and Madison Kelderman; her brother: John (Nancy) Robbers, Green Bay, WI and her sisters: Dienie, Annie,Hennie; Nellie & Jose all of Holland and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johan and two sisters Memorial Service will be on Weds. Nov. 12 at 11 AM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Waupaca with Father Nigel Bousfield, Rector. In lieu of flowers, a donation on behalf of Mia Kelderman to the Bethany Home Foundation greatly appreciated. Mia will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
