Michael R. Paul's Obituary
Michael Paul, 56, was welcomed into eternal peace on Friday March 14, 2025. The son of Orville and Fern Paul, born May 20, 1968.
Mike was born and raised in Green Bay, WI, just blocks from Lambeau Field, a place he grew up admiring. He was a graduate of Ashwaubenon high school, class of 1986, where he met his high school sweetheart and wife of 35 years, Deb Tegelman.
Mike spent his early years playing hockey and enjoying time at the lake with family, where he was often seen slalom water skiing behind his dad’s boat.
Mike was fueled with passion, which shined through in all the things he set out to achieve. He was smart, strategic, and driven, inspiring all whom he encountered. He completed five Ironman Wisconsin triathlons, along with several other endurance races. There was nothing he couldn’t achieve once he set his mind to it.
On holiday weekends, family would gather at Legend Lake, a special place where Mike spent a lot of his childhood. The family would set out on morning coffee cruises, which is just as relaxing as it sounds. Cruising no wake on the pontoon, sipping on a fresh cup of coffee. And there was Mike, swimming alongside the boat, making laps around the lake, with his wife and family cheering him on.
Mike was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed attending games any chance he could. He and his wife loved to travel and see new places; Mexico being one of their favorite spots. Mike loved to put miles on his bike, indulge in a delicious meal with a great bottle of vino, and to go for walks with his beloved Golden-doodle Georgie.
He will be remembered as a loyal, kind, and devoted friend to all; leaving behind many heavy hearts as we mourn his legacy.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Fern Paul; and his mother- in-law, Patty Tegelman.
He is survived by Deb Tegelman Paul, Deb (Terry) Seidel; Alan (Judy) Tegelman; Lori (Mike) Jungers; Dan (Nicole) Seidel; Kelsey (Aaron) Blake; Kimberly Jungers; Courtney Jungers; and 5 great nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held amongst family to honor his memory.
