Michael (Waldo) Hanson's Obituary
Michael G. (Waldo) Hanson, age 50, of Waupaca, WI, passed away suddenly, Thursday, February 28, 2008 at his residence. Waldo was born in River Falls, WI on February 7, 1958, the son of Harvey and LaVon (Schei) Hanson. Waldo worked for many years at Waupaca Elevator. He loved hunting and fishing with his family. He is survived by his children: Clair Hanson and Seth Hanson, both of Waupaca; his mother & step-father: LaVon & Norb Glodowski of Waupaca; his brothers: David (Kathleen) Hanson of Waupaca; Jon Hanson of Waupaca; Paul (Vera) Hanson of Waupaca and Bill (Chelsea) Hanson of Green Bay; his step brothers: Dan (Maggie) Glodowski of Indianapolis,IN and Albert (Liz) Glodowski of Waupaca and his step sister: Karen (Duane) Bruns of Hortonville and his former Wife: Marilee Hagen of Waupaca. Waldo is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, March 4 at 6 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
