Mike Seaman's Obituary
Mike R. Seaman, age 70, of Cape Floral, FL , passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 24th, 2013 at his daughter's residence in Amherst Jct., WI. He was born in Shawano, WI on January 13, 1943, a son of the late Ralph and Faith (Laahs) Seaman. He married Karen J. Loberg on June 27, 1964 in Clintonville, WI. Mike worked for Wisconsin Electric/WE Energies out of Appleton, WI, until his retirement in 2005. He spent his winters in Cape Coral, FL and spent his summers at the cabin in Sand Lake, Florence Co., WI. Mike enjoyed fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, hunting, carving, flying model airplanes and volunteering for Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL. He also loved to spend time at the cabin with his family and granddaughters. Survivors include his Wife: Karen Seaman, Cape Coral, FL; Children: Craig Seaman, Fort Myers, FL; Melissa (Mike) Simonis, Amherst Jct., WI; Grandchildren: Alyssa Hilker, Amherst Jct., WI and Mikaela Hilker, Amherst Jct., WI. A Memorial Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst, WI, at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 31st, 2013, with Reverend Gretchen Anderson officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, from 1 PM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
