Mildred E. Dunkley's Obituary
Mildred E. Dunkley, age 91, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Bethany Home, Waupaca, WI where she was a resident. Mildred was born in Waupaca, WI on April 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Carl and Clara (Rasmussen) Fries. On September 7, 1940, Mildred married Horace G. Dunkley in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2006. Mildred worked for many years at Clark Oil Company and JC Penney. She was active in the Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and the PTA.
Mildred is survived by her daughter: Janice Jones, Janesville; her son: David Dunkley, Madison; a granddaughter: Kelly (Steven) Todd, Fort Atkinson and two
great-grandchildren: Devan and Haley Todd. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Horace, her son - Gregory, a grandson - Gary Reich and three sisters - Dagney, Dorothy and Adel. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Jennifer DeNetz, officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
