Mildred "Millie" L. Covill's Obituary
Mildred “Millie” Covill, age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. She was born August 3, 1934 in Paragould, AR; daughter of Patrick and Mary (Layton) Carroll. Millie graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis, TN in 1955. She met Donald Paul Covill who was stationed at the Naval Training Center in Millington, TN. On September 17, 1955, Millie married Donald Paul Covill in Paragould, AR and together they shared 52 years of marriage before his passing on June 28, 2008. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish and Catholic Women, member of the Wild Rose Hospital Auxiliary, and the Wild Cat Booster Club. Millie will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Millie is survived by her six children, Patrick Covill of Tulare, CA, Paula (Derk) Lesniak of Ripon, WI, Peter (Angela) Covill of Mills River, NC, Phillip (Sharniece) Covill of Mequon, WI, Loretta (David) Hoetker of Louisville, KY, and Will (Lisa) Covill of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Daine (Michal) Lesniak of Columbia, MD, Alison (Justin Zyduck) Lesniak of Madison, WI, Dylan Covill of Mills River, NC, Quade Covill of Mills River, NC, Olivia Covill of Mequon, WI, Jonathan Covill of Mequon, WI, James Hoetker of Louisville, KY, Nicholas Hoetker of Louisville, KY, Tim Covill of Pensacola, FL, and Lily Covill Pensacola, FL; two great-grandchildren, Liam and Lydia Zyduck of Madison, WI; and one sister, Jean Davis of Paragould, AR. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Mary Carroll; her husband, D. Paul Covill; one sister, Alice McCullar; and three brothers, Richard, Everett “Skip”, and Patrick Jr. Carroll.
A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma, WI. Father David F. Greskowiak will preside. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the church and also on Thursday, April 13th, from 12:00 – 4:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI. Burial will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
