MILDRED “MILLY” D. WAHL
BERLIN, WISCONSIN
Age 97, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of December 17, 2016 at Patriot Place in Berlin, WI. She was born September 24, 1919 in Lannon, WI; daughter of Frank and Marie (Joecks) Braun. On February 27, 1940, Milly married Fred K. Wahl in Milwaukee and together they shared 26 years of marriage before his passing on May 12, 1990. She will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Milly is survived by Barbara and (David) Madell of Berlin, WI; four great-grandchildren, Spencer and Bret Krentz of Neshkoro, WI, Monica and Corinne Madell of Berlin, WI; two nephews, Tom (Fay) Braun of Hot Springs, SD and Jeff Braun of Sussex, WI; two nieces, Marilyn Treder of Milwaukee, WI and Leslie Braun of Port Washington, WI; a sister-in-law, Betty Braun of Port Washington, WI; and also a special friend, Jewelie Grape of St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marie Braun; her husband, Fred Wahl; two sisters, Dorothy (Edward) Ciszewski and Lois Waters; and two brothers, Frank Braun, Jr. and Edward (Gertrude) Braun.
A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Poy Sippi, WI. Pastor Franklin Giebel will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield following the service on Wednesday. The Holly Funeral Home of Poy Sippi is assisting the family with arrangements.
A thank-you to the staff at Patriot Place in Berlin for all of their help and support given to Milly over the past year, and a special thank-you to Bobbie Dych because she really cared. The special treatment Milly received will never be forgotten.
