Mildred Sutheimer's Obituary
Mildred D. Sutheimer, age 93, of Amherst, passed away on Monday, April 19th, 2010 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. She was born in Stevens Point on December 19, 1916, a daughter of the late Otto and Emma (Ellerman) Reinke. She married Arleigh Sutheimer on November 16, 1946 in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1988. Millie was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst. Millie had worked as an underwriter for Sentry Insurance for many years. She enjoyed playing piano, bowling, curling and square dancing. Millie belonged to several craft and bridge clubs. She was also an excellent baker. Millie enjoyed all get togethers with family and friends Survivors include her 3 Children: Jim (Lisa) Sutheimer, Amherst, WI; Peggy (Dave) Breyhan, Amherst, WI; Cathy (Bob) Trzebiatowski, Amherst Jct., WI. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; Mandi, Justin, Brandon, Sara, Mitch, Jenna, Erin, Amy, Jada and Shane; and 3 great grandchildren; Hailie, Annabelle and Rachel. Millie is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst at 11 AM on Saturday, April 24th, 2010, with Reverend Mark Moldenhauer, officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements. Mom, you were a loving mother and grandmother and we will forever miss your bright happy smile.
