Mrs. La Vern P. Hansen's Obituary
La Vern P. Hansen, age 83, of Poy Sippi, WI passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at her residence. La Vern was born in the Town of Oasis, Waushara County on August 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Timm) Santosky. On May 5, 1945 La Vern married LeRoy E. Hansen in Almond, WI and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2000. La Vern enjoyed flower gardening and bird watching and was a cat and dog lover. She is a member of First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi. La Vern is survived by her daughter: Georgia Lee (Jim) Laird, Aurora, CO; her grandchildren: Scott (Kelly) Laird, Combined Locks, WI; Robyn (Mike) Laird-Bond, Fort Collins, CO and her great grandchildren: Michael & Stephanie Laird and a brother: Donald Santosky, Wautoma. La Vern was also preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 18 at 10:30 AM at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi with Reverend David Sielaff, officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Mt. Morris Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in La Vern's name.
