Myron "Mike" Vaughan's Obituary
Myron L. (Mike) Vaughan, age 73, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Friday, March 29th, 2019 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-MacArthur Hall, King, WI. He was born in New London, WI on October 5, 1945, a son of the late Lester and Lorraine (Schwandt) Vaughan.
Mike married Diane Wilhelm on July 20, 1968 in Iola, WI. He was a truck driver for the Waupaca Co. Highway Department for 36 1/2 years. Mike enjoyed watching football, camping, boating, fishing, riding ATV's and spending time with his family. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his Wife: Diane Vaughan, Waupaca, WI; Children: Kevin Vaughan, Waupaca, WI; Drena (Bill) Vetter, Waupaca, WI; Brian (Maria) Vaughan, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Korissa (Derek) Schadrie, Neenah, WI; Samantha Sivertsen, Oshkosh, WI; Allie (Erik) Leon, Appleton, WI; Zach Montgomery, Waupaca, WI; Ella Vaughan, Waupaca, WI; Great Granddaughter: Norah Leon, Appleton, WI; Step-Grandchildren: George Vetter, Waupaca, WI; Abby Vetter, Waupaca, WI; Brother: Eugene (Elaine) Vaughan, Siverville, TN; Sisters: Darla (Paul) Swisher, Waupaca, WI; Shari (Harlan) Dietz, Iola, WI; LuAnn (Jerry) Hagen, Waupaca, WI; Teri Vaughan, Waupaca, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1 PM on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, with Chaplain Rich Engle, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home for their kind and compassionate care.
