Myrtle Barlow's Obituary
Myrtle Barlow, age 93, of Waupaca passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab. Center. Myrt was born in Lake Forest, IL on September 12, 1921, the daughter of the late Charles and Rosemary Oulds. Myrt married Robert Barlow in Lake Forest, IL. Myrt enjoyed going to the shake of the day at Wally's World in King, JR's Sportsmans Bar and Paca Pub. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, going hunting with Bob and was an avid Chicago Cub & Bear fan.
Myrt is survived by her son: James ( Anita) Witten, Casper, WY; her daughters: Linda Evans, Lake Forest, IL; Janet (Sherrell) Pate, Willis, Texas and Sharon (Martin) Flores, Antioch, IL; her step son: Thomas Barlow, Waukegan, IL; 21 grandchildren: 32 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. Myrt was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Barlow, Sons: William Witten & Charles Barlow, a Daughter: Diane (CoCo) Larsen, a grandson, James Witten and a great granddaughter, Julia Linn DeMarco.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, April 29 at 11 AM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Robert Blackburn, officiating. Burial will follow in the Rural Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Crystal River Nursing Home for the wonderful care and love given to Mryt the last 15 years.
