Myrtle Gill's Obituary
Myrtle J. Gill, age 81, of Waupaca, passed away on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born in Auburndale, WI. on January 23, 1924, a daughter of the late Hollis and Mary (Munnick) Babcock. Myrtle graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point in 1943. She married Ervin H. Gill on September 25, 1943. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2001. Myrtle enjoyed playing cards and camping, and most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.. She is survived by 2 Daughters: Bonnie Gill, Waupaca, WI.; Cheryl (John) Hentges, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.; 4 Sons: James Gill, Waupaca, WI.; Robert Gill, Waupaca, WI.; Alan Gill, Waupaca, WI.; Tom (Donna) Gill, Waupaca, WI.; 6 Grandchildren: Amanda Hentges; Carlye Hentges; Michelle Hentges; Tommy Gill; Joey Gill; Kimi Gill; 3 Sisters: Loretta Homerding, Wausau, WI.; Betty Reisman, Wausau, WI.; Delores (Richard) Berden, Auburndale, WI.. Myrtle is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Ervin, and 6 brothers - Sylvester, Harold, Melvin, Ralph, Richard and Donald Babcock. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 26th, with Reverend Cathy J.N. Weigand officiating. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery in Stevens Point. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
