Nancy R. Bartel's Obituary
Nancy R. Bartel, age 76, of Wautoma, went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was was born in Waupaca County, on October 17, 1938 a daughter of the late Leonard and Olga (Hintz) Much.
She married Roger Bartel on June 27, 1959 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Weyauwega. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2014. Nancy was a Nurses Aide at Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega for 18 1/2 years before moving to Mt. Morris, Waushara County. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma.
She is survived by 5 Children: Roxanne Estrada, Hancock, WI; Barrett (Barbara) Bartel, Waupaca, WI; Jay (Jodi) Bartel, New London, WI; Kelly (John Jr.) Mapes, Weyauwega, WI; Todd Bartel, Wautoma, WI; Eleven Grandchildren; Ten Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: Cedric (Marlene) Much, Slinger, WI; Leonard (Janice) Much Jr., Neenah, WI; Robert Much, Clintonville, WI; Ronald (Jan) Much, Little Chute, WI; Sister: Grace (Everette) Heimbruch, New London, WI. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Roger, son - Michael Bartel and a granddaughter - Kristi Estrada.
Funeral Services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma at 3 PM on Sunday, February 15th, 2015, with Reverend Roger Riedel, officiating. Interment will be held later this spring at Lind Center Cemetery, Town Lind, Waupaca County. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1 PM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Foundation for Hospice in Neenah or Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma.
