Naoma M. Schmidt's Obituary
Naoma M. Schmidt age 84 of Three Lakes, WI, passed away on Tuesday August 27, 2013 at her residence. Naoma was born on November 2, 1928 the daughter of Lloyd Larson and Lucille (Buelow) Peterson. Naoma married John Schmidt on June 13, 1970. Naoma relocated to Milwaukee where she started her career at Evinrude Motors as a mail girl, and over 45 years of employment, she advanced to the position of Executive Secretary to the president. She then enjoyed her retirement with John in the Three Lakes area.
Naoma is survived by her husband John Schmidt of Three Lakes, WI; her daughter Debra (Gary) Minor of Milwaukee, WI; five grandchildren Steven, Jacob, Zachary, Rebecca, and Carl; her brother Richard (Carol) Larson of Cedarburg, WI, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Naoma was preceded in death by her parents Norman A. and Lucille E. Peterson; her biological father Lloyd Larson, and her brother Lloyd Larson Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 11, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Waupaca. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date at the Park Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:30 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flower memorials would be appreciated to Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation.
