Nora Frater's Obituary
Nora A. Frater, age 89, of Wild Rose, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, February 14th, 2005 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital. She was born in the Town of Rose, Waushara County on July 2, 1915, the daughter of Osmund and Valborg (Olson) Knutson. Nora married Elmer Colligan on November 24, 1947 in Almond, WI. He preceded her in death on August 19, 1963. She married Kenneth Frater on January 16, 1965. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1981. Nora was a member of Wild Rose Baptist Church Wild Rose, Wisconsin. She is survived by Sons: Michael (Genny) Colligan, Wild Rose, WI; Terry (Kitty) Colligan, Iola, WI. Grandchildren: Sean (Holly) Colligan, Appleton, WI; Molly Colligan, Wild Rose, WI; Caitlin Colligan, Wild Rose, WI; Jenni (Andy) Peters, Madison, WI; Patrick (Jamie) Colligan, Neenah, WI; Great Grandsons: Riley Colligan, Appleton, WI; Hayden Colligan, Neenah, WI. Other relatives and friends further survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Elmer Colligan; second husband, Kenneth Frater; six brothers, Knut, Ole, Otto, Harold, Melvin & Arden and a sister, Ellen Mozek. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the Wild Rose Baptist Church. The Reverend Dr. Scott Jones will officate. Burial will be in Ravine Cemetery in the Town of Springwater, Waushara County. A vistiation will be held Thursday at the church from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established to the Wild Rose Baptist Church. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose assisted the family with arrangements.
