Nordis M. Anderson's Obituary
Nordis M. Anderson, age 98, of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Wild Rose Manor. Nordis was born in the Town of Wautoma, Waushara County on November 7, 1913, the daughter of the late Torge and Maria (Pederson) Stea. On June 6, 1935, she married Arnold Anderson in Waukegan, IL and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1974. Nordis was a cook in the Wild Rose Public Schools for over twenty years and was famous for her sweet rolls. Nordis is survived by her children: John (Joan) Anderson, Wild Rose; Chuck (Nancy) Anderson, Stevens Point; Carol (Sidney) Auck, Wautoma and Mary (David) Broadwell, Plover. Also surviving are her 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Nordis was preceded in death by parents, her husband Arnold, three sisters, Torney Sorenson, Anne Juul and Elizabeth Thompson, three brothers, Peter (Julius) Stea, Trygve Stea and Arnold Stea, four sisters-in-law, Marjorie Stea, Betty Stea, Bernice Stea and Evelyn Waldal and three brother-in-laws, Harland Thompson, Tom Sorenson and Riedar Juul. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 27 at 11 AM at West Holden Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, Town of Wautoma. Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 9 to 11 AM at the church. Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
