Norman D. Biadasz's Obituary
Norman D. Biadasz, 81 of Amherst, WI passed away Friday morning, March 22, 2024, at home surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born on August 4, 1942, the son of Jake and Victoria (Meshak) Biadasz on the family farm. He graduated from Amherst High School in 1961. In May of 1962, he met his sweetheart Marge Flees. They later married on June 6, 1964 at St. Adalbert’s Church in Rosholt, WI. After their marriage they resided in Milwaukee returning in the fall of 1968 making Amherst their home where they raised their family and operated their daily farm. Norm was a 24/7 proud farmer from sun up to sun down. He loved the smell of fresh tilled soil and the first smell of freshly cut hay every year. Enjoyed picking mushrooms, blackberries, apples, and always had a garden. He loved listening to polka music and spending time with his family. He was the timer and tester on the Christmas cookies too!
Norm was a member of St. Mary’s of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church his entire life. He was a director on the board for the International Bank of Amherst for 34 years.
He is survived by his wife Marge Biadasz, children David (Lori) Biadasz, Chuck Biadasz, Suzanne (Jeffrey) Kaminski, William (Jolene) Biadasz and grandchildren Joel (Tessa Thurs) Biadasz, Tyler Biadasz, Codi Kaminski, Jaci Kaminski, Samantha Kaminski, Colton Kaminski and Emma Jo Biadasz. Siblings Mary (Tom) Wierzba and Bob (Diane) Biadasz, nephews, nieces, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
Norm is preceded in death by his parents Jake and Victoria, father-in-law and mother-in-law Alois and Ann Flees, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ambrose and Esther Flees, Lawrence Flees, daughter-in-law Tasha Biadasz, nephews Henry Flees Jr, Jason Trzebiatowski, Kevin Wierzba, and Michael Biadasz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 11:30 am at St. Mary’s of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church – Fancher, 3995 County Rd. K, Amherst, WI. Father Jerzy Rebacz will officiate with burial follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 9:30 am until the time of mass at 11:30 am. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
We would like to thank Dr. Onitilo, Dr. Lielis, Dr. Laura, Dr. Grabowski and the nursing staff for their wonderful care and support.
The last seven years he battled stage four cancer with tremendous courage.
