Norman C. Lutz's Obituary
Norman C. Lutz, age 75, of San Diego, CA passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at his home. Norman was born in Almond, WI on December 31, 1938, the son of the late Arleigh and Cecelia (Olkiewicz) Lutz Sr. He attended a rural country school, the Almond Public School and graduated from Almond High School in 1956. After graduation he worked for the Victrylite Candle Company in Oshkosh until entering the US Army in 1962. After basic training he served as a Military Policeman in Metz, France until he was discharged in 1964. After that he worked in the airline industry, first for Republic Airlines, then Northwest, and finally Delta until his retirement in 2001.
Norman is survived by his two brothers; Rev. Arleigh (Barbara) Lutz Jr., Wausau, WI; James (Karen) Lutz, Austin, TX and his two sisters; Leandra Wimble, Friendship, WI and Dorothy (Richard) Karr, Ocala, FL He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law, Douglas Wimble.
Graveside Services will be on Saturday, July 19 at 11:30 AM at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Almond with Reverend Arleigh Lutz Jr., officiating.
