Norman F. Swanson's Obituary
Norman F. Swanson, age 100 of Conover, WI passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He was born on September 19, 1919, son of the late Fred and Mary (Kocka) Swanson in Junction City, WI. Norman married the love of his life, Dorothy on September 5, 1942 in Rockford, IL. He joined the U.S Army on July 28, 1944 serving during WWII and was honorably discharged on August 19, 1946. He was a master machinist for many years and he had five patents for things he invented. He was a private pilot, enjoying the outdoors, and fishing and hunting.
Norman is survived by his wife of 77 years, Dorothy of King, WI, children; Curtis (Sylvia) Swanson of Vero Beach, FL, Carol (Darrell) Olsen of Conover, WI, Susan (Tom) Zander of Conover, WI, Richard (Lynne) Swanson of Blaine, WA, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Norman is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Debra Ann Swanson.
Services are pending at this time.
Burial will be held at a later date at Land O Lakes Bible Church Cemetery.
