Normand Moak's Obituary
Normand L. Moak, age 83, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Friday, April 22nd, 2011 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. He was born in Auroraville, WI., on September 1, 1927, a son of the late Arthur and Bernice (Thomas) Moak. Normand married Nancy Lou Steinberg on June 19, 1949 in Weyauwega, WI. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Normand farmed in the Town of Lind, hatching chickens and was also a retired employee of the Waupaca Foundry where he had worked for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, following the Brewers, Badgers and Packers. He also enjoyed following the Grandchildrens' school and sports activities. Normand also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Nancy. He also loved spending time at his cottage on Butternut Lake with his family and cats. Survivors include his Wife: Nancy Moak, Waupaca, WI; Children: Sandra K. (Smokey) Grenlie, Waupaca, WI; Michael N. (Cheryl) Moak, Appleton, WI; Susan A. (Larry) Rasmussen, Scandinavia, WI; Gary Moak, Waupaca, WI; Sister: Marilyn (Vilas) Timm, Weyauwega, WI; Brothers-in-law: Chuck (Judy) Steinberg, Weyauwega, WI; James (Marlene) Steinberg, Oconomowoc, WI; Sister-in-law: Carol (Jerry) Wohlrabe, Neenah; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Oleatta Spiegelberg and a brother-in-law, Carl Spiegelberg. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment will be in the Lind Center Cemetery, Town Lind, Waupaca Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the church. A memorial has been established for the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund. The family would like to thank the staff at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah, especially Dr. Bellg and the caring staff of the Intensive Care Unit and also Fox Valley Cardiology Group, especially Dr. Mariano. The family would also like to thank the Waupaca EMT's, Dr. Zeller and Dr. Buchholz.
