Norris Bohm's Obituary
Norris Bohm, age 82, a resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017.
Norris was born on August 13, 1934 at Two Rivers Hospital in Two Rivers, WI. He was the son of the late Elmer and Birdeena Bohm. He attended Washington High School and joined the Marines at age 17. Norris served his country during the Korean War.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held in the spring of 2017 at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.
Survivors include one sister, Marilyn (Bohm) Walters, nieces and nephews.
Norris was preceded in death by his mother, Birdeena (Hempel) Bohm and father, Elmer (Jake) Bohm. Two sisters and brother-in-law, Dona (Bohm) Rieck and husband Elwood Rieck, his twin, Norrine (Bohm) Swoboda and husband, Duane Swoboda, one brother and sister-in-law, Bethel Bohm and wife Irene (Gilbert) Bohm and a brother-in-law, Richard (Dick) Walters. Norris was also preceded in death by three nephews, Patrick Bohm, Brian Walters and Terry Swoboda.
Norris was very talented in arts and crafts. He loved taking old things and making them into something new and functional. Until recently, biking was one of his favorite activities.
The Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
