Ole J. Thompson's Obituary
Ole J. Thompson, age 62, of Amherst Jct., WI passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, WI. He was born in Stevens Point, WI on February 23, 1962, a son of the late Emil and Jeanette (Waiter) Thompson.
Ole lived life by being present. He married his favorite wife Kelly Olson on July 27, 1992 in Scandinavia, WI. They enjoyed 34 years together, time was spent going spring asparagus picking, relaxing at their lake home with family and friends, and plenty of games of Upwords and Yahtzee to mention a few treasured activities. Ole embraced his added role as father to Jessica and Casey and further enjoyed being Grandpa to Madelyn, Peyton, Hailey and Nash. He will surely be missed by all.
Survivors include his Favorite Wife: Kelly Thompson, Amherst Jct., WI; Favorite Daughter: Jessica (Eric) Murphy-Onan; Favorite Son: Casey Fischer; Grandchildren: Madelyn Onan; Peyton Onan; Hailey Fischer; Nash Fischer; Brother-in-law: Carl Megal; Sister: Ginger Megal; Brother: Gary (Doreen) Thompson. Ole is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother - John Thompson, a sister - Gayel Maves and nephew -Brett Megal.
As per Ole's wishes, no services will be held.
