ORIN A. SCHLEICHER
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 89, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. He was born on June 3, 1923 in the Town of Mt. Morris, Waushara Co., WI; son of Oscar and Emma (Pagel) Schleicher. On June 8, 1946, Orin married Maxine L. Thompson at West Holden Lutheran Church and they shared 66 years of marriage before her passing on October 18, 2012. Orin is survived by:
Daughter: Sally (Keith) Schnese of Wild Rose, WI
Son: Boyd (Kathy) Schleicher of Waunakee, WI
Grandchildren: Matthew (Jackie) Schleicher of Appleton, WI
Erich Schleicher of Waunakee, WI
Kirstin (Justin) Arndt of Brown Deer, WI
Great-Grandchildren: Miranda and Linus Arndt
Maddie Schleicher
Sister: Lila Schultz of Waupaca, WI
Sister-in-law: Millie Anderson of Wild Rose, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Emma Schleicher; his wife, Maxine Schleicher; and one brother, Gerald Schleicher. A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church in Wautoma, WI. Pastor Paul Brinkman will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Morris Holden Cemetery in the Town of Mt. Morris following the service on Tuesday. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to all of the staff at Bethany Home for all of their help and support to our family throughout the past months. The special care Orin received will never be forgotten.
