Orville L. Pomerenke's Obituary
Orville L. Pomerenke, age 75, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. Orville was born in the Town of Lanark, Portage County, on May 29, 1932, the son of the late John and Grace (Pike) Pomerenke. Orville worked at the Waupaca Foundry for 38 Years. Orville married Rachael Ruediger Bonnell on May 8, 1976. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Orville is survived by his wife: Rachael Pomerenke, Waupaca; his children: William (Pamela) Pomerenke, Scandinavia; Lorie (John) Witzeling, Waupaca; Linda (Larry) Mundt, Weyauwega; Wayne (Tammy) Pomerenke, Scandinavia; Kelly (Robert) Hansen, Waupaca and Lisa (Greg) Schulke, Waupaca; his step-children: Doreen (Chester) Papinaeu, Waupaca; Rebecca (Frank) Lawrence, Oklahoma City, OK; Leslie (Neil Manteufel) Bonnell, Waupaca; DuWain (Kathy) Bonnell, Waupaca and Sara (Tim) Burr, Waupaca; Foster Child: Robert (Charlene) Schulz; Sisters: Mildred Uhl, Amherst; Rita (Charles) Lamb, Clinton, MO; Brother: LaVern(Chip) Pomerenke, Scandinavia and many Grandchildren and great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 3, with Reverend Eugene Gauerke, officiating. Military Graveside Services will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home with a VFW service at 8 PM.
