Orville W. Schmideke
Brookfield, WI (Formerly of Wild Rose, WI)
Age 84 – died on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Care-Age of Brookfield. He was born on June 15, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Erick Schmideke and Evelyn (Schultz) Schmideke Biedenbender. He married Eva Misheski on July 5, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI. They had been married for 62 years.
Orville is survived by his wife, Eva, two daughters; Connie (Mark) Hollinger of Milwaukee, and Bonnie Jamieson of Wauwatosa, a son; Roger Schmideke of Wild Rose, grandchildren; Laurence (Ann) King, Ryan (Wendy) King, Kari Schmideke, Seth Jamieson (Abbie), and Jesse (Lila) Schmideke, great grandchild; Celia Rose King, brother; William Schmideke, and sister; Nancy (Gerald) Edgren. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
Orville served in the U.S. Marine Corps in WWII. He was a retired trouble man for WE Energies. Orville was an active church member, a bicyclist, skier, artist, and a good friend.
A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Saxeville, WI on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 1:30 PM, with the Reverends Bob Hanson and Vicki Fink, officiating. Interment will be in the Saxeville Union Cemetery in Saxeville. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 12:30 – 1:30 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
