Palma S. Johnson's Obituary
Mrs. Palma S. Johnson, age 97, of St. Pete Beach, Florida, formerly of Amherst, passed away Wednesday, July 4th, 2007 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital Hospice Unit, South Pasadena, Florida. Mrs. Johnson was born in Amherst, Wisconsin on April 12, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Marie (Engbretson) Loberg. On March 21, 1931, she married Elwyn Johnson on March 21, 1931 in Amherst. He preceded her in death on Feb 26, 1987. Palma was a school teacher in Amherst and moved to Florida in 1953. She was a member of the Garden of Peace Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, FL. She is survived by Sons: Dr. David L. (Norma) Johnson, Columbia SC; Donald L. (Delores) Johnson, Kiel, WI; Dan L. (Jo) Johnson, St. Pete Beach, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a Brother: Johan Loberg and two Sisters: Melinda Krueger & Hilma Loberg. Funeral Service will be held at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home, Amherst, Wisconsin at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 9th, with Reverend Carl W. Peters of Green Bay, officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Amherst, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Monday 12:30-1:00 P.M. at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home. Jungers-Holly Funeral Home
