Patricia Baer's Obituary
Patricia A. Baer, age 66, of Waupaca, passed away on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab. Center in Waupaca. She was born in Neenah, WI., on June 23, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Bernice Naleway. She married Thomas D. Baer on April 10, 1961. Pat fought a gallant 9 year battle with cancer and was a strong supporter for others with cancer while fighting through her own battle. She taught CCD for 12 years until being diagnosed with cancer. Pat loved children, her dogs, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and traveling. She was a very caring person and always had time for others in need. A memorial is being established in Pat's name for the Wisconsin Sheltie Rescue.. She is survived by Husband: Thomas Baer, Waupaca, WI; Nephews & Nieces: Timothy (Fiance' - Pam Huey) Baer, Oshkosh, WI; Susan (Paul) Penzenstadler, Oshkosh, WI; David (Josie) Baer, Oshkosh, WI. She is further survived by several great nieces and nephews. Also very special friends, Ruth Gerou, Waupaca, Miss Louise Smith, South Haven, MS., Pat Skinner, Mephis, TN., and her dog, Sheba. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Clifford H. and Gunhild Baer, brothers-in-law, Gerald Baer and David Baer. Funeral Services will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 11 AM with Father Brian Belongia officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at the Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum and Chapel in Neenah, WI.
