Patricia A. Cooley's Obituary
The world lost a beloved mother and grandmother, and heaven gained another angel. Patricia (Patti) A. Cooley, born Patricia Ann Weston on December 7, 1938, was the daughter of the late Theresa Weston. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the age of 84.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years William H. Cooley (96); two daughters Laura Cooley (husband Neil Fleischhacker) and Lisa Collins (husband Don Collins); and two amazing Granddaughters (Gabby and Abby Collins) as well as many loving relatives and friends.
A loving mother, homemaker and secretary, Patti was a remarkable cook, and her spaghetti sauce is known far and wide. She is also the mother to two of the cutest cats (Bitsy & Daisy) and Grandmother to 6 horses (Bullet, Rosy, Jax, Zelda, Mimi, and Aurora) and 2 dogs (Maddie & Forrest).
Patti enjoyed reading, playing with her cats, watching her two Granddaughters grow into beautiful and talented young women, and spending time with the horses. She loved to hear about her daughter Laura’s travels around the world, and she was extremely proud of Lisa as she navigated the roles of mother, businesswoman, and caregiver.
The Cooley family wishes to thank all of those who have cared for Patti during her final days at Wisconsin Veterans Home in Waupaca. Patti was loved by many and will be missed by all.
