Patricia Guyant's Obituary
Patricia A. Guyant, age 60, of Hortonville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 22nd, 2006 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton after a courageous struggle with cancer. She was born in Milwaukee on September 18, 1945, a daughter of Fred and the late Ruthe (Helbach) Berto. She married George Guyant on July 24, 1965 in Stevens Point. Pat was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Parish in Hortonville. Survivors include her husband: George Guyant, Hortonville; Son: Albert Guyant, Stevens Point; Daughter: Michele (Kurt) Armstrong, Larson; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Special Grandchildren; Father: Fred Berto, Amherst; Sister: Jane (Len) Pascavis, Plover; Brothers: Daniel (Ginger) Berto, Georgetown, TX; Michael (Special Friend: Wilma Coats) Berto, Amherst. She was preceded in death by her mother - Ruthe, and a sister - Jean Szymkowiak. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Parish in Hortonville on Thursday, January 26 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jim Feely, officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Patricia A. Guyant. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements. Pat will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a wonderful, caring person who touched the lives of many people. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Theda Care Hospice Staff and to the AMC Cancer Center and all of the special friends and family for their support this past year.
