Patricia M. Somers' Obituary
Patricia M. Somers, age 79, of Plover, WI, passed away on Monday, August 18th, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in Ellis, WI on September 6, 1945, a daughter of the late Norman and Bernice (Klosinski) Kjer.
She married Thomas Somers on November 13, 1965. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2022.
Survivors include her Children: Leanne (Tom) Schaetzl, Mosinee, Wisconsin; Wayne (Tina) Somers, Appleton, Wisconsin; Dennis (Becky) Somers, Appleton, Wisconsin; Ten Grandchildren; Sister: Jane (Robert) Rosicky, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Patricia was also preceded in death by two sisters - Bonnie Sommers and Barbara Grzywacz, and two brothers - Billy Kjer and Jerry Kjer.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Jungers - Holly Funeral Home in Amherst at 11 AM on Monday, August 25th, 2025. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Stockton, Portage Co., WI. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
