Paul Montage Boyd Jr. age 89, passed away on August 30, 2015. Paul was born on October 30, 1925 in St. Paul MN, the son of Paul and Gwendolyn (Heiser) Boyd Sr. Paul was a graduate, alumni of the University of Minnesota. Highly decorated combat action veteran of World War II as well as Korea War. Scout leader with troop eight and Chapter Member of the order of the arrow BSA, Sales Associate for MSI insurance Mpls MN For many years. Owner operator of AB&B Associates Insurance Agency Coon Rapids, MN
Paul is survived by his wife Joyce, son James, daughters laurel, Cheryl, Carroll, his sisters Pauline, Paulette as well as countless cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by parents Paul Montage Boyd Sr. and mother Gwendelyn. Sisters Eunice, Marleese, and Audrey. Niece Susan Musta, son Jonathan Edward, great grandchild Logan John Ide.
He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and mentor that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at 1 P.M. at the Main chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 1 P.M. A burial of the cremains will be held immediately after at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
