Paul Richardson's Obituary
Paul W. Richardson, age 66, of King, WI, passed away Wednesday, June 14th, 2006 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. He was born in Effingham, Illinois on December 19, 1939, the son of James and Helen (Chamberlain) Richardson. Paul married Mary Westergard on March 15, 1998 in Waupaca. He was the president of the Rodeo City Riders. Paul was instrumental in establishing a horse riding trail at Hartman Creek State Park where he also belonged to the Friends of Hartman Creek. He was a commentator and writer for Midwest Outdoors magazine. He is survived by Wife: Mary Richardson, King, WI; Children: Thomas (Cheryl) Richardson; Clayton (JoAnn) Dove; Lynn Heffington; Kathryn Richardson; Step-son: Eric Hoernke; Several grandchildren; Brother: David (Monica) Richardson; Father-in-law: Gordon Westergard. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held 2 PM on Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Milton Miller officiating. A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 PM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established to the Friends of Hartman Creek.
