Pearl B. Doerfler
Waupaca, WI Age 106 - died on Friday, April 25, 2008 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on June 18, 1901 in the Township of Harrison, Waupaca County, WI, the daughter of Halvor and Marin (Fjelle) Sether. She married Frank Doerfler on September 24, 1921 in Waupaca, WI He preceded her in death on December 8, 1975. Pearl is survived by a son; Everett (Dorothy) Doerfler of Appleton, a daughter; Donna Schuelke of Fremont, six grandchildren; Selene (Jerry) Finch of Neenah, Rev. Gary (Violet) Strike of Waupaca, Patricia (Don) Weiland of Waupaca, Greg (Beverly) Schuelke of Hubertus, Jeff (Joyce) Schuelke of Lebanon, and Wendy (Bob) Van Lyssel of Fremont, ten great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, a step-granddaughter; Karen Schuelke of Florida, three step-great grandsons, and six step-great great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband; Frank, a daughter; Dolores Strike, two sons-in-law; Bill Strike and Herb Schuelke, a step-grandson; Donald Schuelke, her parents, five brothers, and two sisters. Pearl had been a homemaker for most of her adult life. She had also been a long-time member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11:00 am, with the Rev. Dr. Charles Tews, Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery in Waupaca. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Thursday morning from 9:30 – 11:00 am. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
