Pearl P. Patoka's Obituary
Pearl P. Patoka, age 82, of Amherst Jct, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, March 17th, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. Pearl was born in Amherst Junction on September 27, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Agnes (Kenowski) Konkol. On Oct 18, 1947 she married Victor V. Patoka at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church-Fancher. He preceded her in death in 1983. In later years, she and her special friend: Gerald Barden enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, going to the casino and gardening. Pearl is survived by Sons: Wayne (Bonnie) Patoka, Amherst; Tom Patoka, Miami Beach, FL; Daughters: Carol (Ronald) Shulfer, Custer; Bonnie (Robert) Patoka, Amherst; Brothers: Rudy (Rita) Konkol, Stevens Point; Eric (Dorothy) Konkol, Stevens Point; Sisters: Bernice Rogoski, Stevens Point. Grandchildren: Steve (Nicole) Shulfer, Middleton; Rebecca (Nate) Menzel, Hilbert; Chad (Special Friend: Hayley Lazarski) Patoka, Mosinee; Jeremy Patoka, Stevens Point; Karmen (Aaron) LeRoy, Appleton; Great Grandchildren: Bailey Shulfer; Peyton Shulfer; Emily Menzel and Special Friend: Gerald Barden, Amherst. She is also survived by other relatives and friends including Sister Edward Meronek. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Victor, One Grandson: Lance Patoka, 4 Brothers : Stanley, Ted, Alvin, Victor, Three Sisters: Wanda Longley, Bertha Patoka, Sue Dzikoski. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church-Fancher at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 20th, with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery Town Stockton, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Monday 4-8 P.M. at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. A Rosary service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 7:30 P.M.
