Pearle Olsen's Obituary
Pearle L. Olsen, age 92, of Waupaca, WI, fomerly of Amherst, WI entered eternal life on Thursday, November 15th, 2007 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Amherst Jct., WI on June 29, 1915, the daughter of Soren and Anna (Lea) Iverson. Pearle married Walter Olsen on November 19, 1934 in Deerfield, IL. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2003. She lived in the Amherst area for most of her life until she moved to Bethany Home nine years ago. Pearle was a loving and ever-optimistic woman, living out her deep Christian faith every day. She is survived by Son: Charles (Diana) Olsen, Neenah, WI; Daughter: Andrea (Larry) Vollrath, Green Bay, WI; Grandchildren: John Vollrath, Green Bay, WI; Jennifer (David) Grosam, Green Bay, WI; Laura (Paul) Smolinski, Sherwood, WI; Lisa Miller, Neenah, WI; Sarah Olsen, West Allis, WI and Nine Great Grandchildren. Pearle was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Walter; three brothers and three sisters. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 19, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst, with Reverend Dwight Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established for the Alzheimers Association.
