Philip Chevalier Sr.'s Obituary
Philip “Frenchy” J. Chevalier Sr. died February 17, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He was born December 16, 1938 to the late Philious and Mary (Peplinski) Chevalier. He grew up and attended schools in Stevens Point. Upon graduation he enlisted and served in the Navy Medical Corp. He married Terry Futoi in Naha, Japan, they later divorced. He married Marcelle Grimm in Arlington, VA. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2008.
He worked in the computer field, and loved to cook, sail, and ride his motorcycle. Survivors include his children, Sally Chevalier (Michael Woitczak), Rumiko Richmond, Tina Chevalier-Laube (David), Tamara Chevalier (Bruce Kurkowski), Stevens Point. Marie Chevalier (Robert Holiday), Wauwatosa, Philip J. Chevalier, Jr.(Sherri), Sacramento, CA, Erica Slisz (Ronald), Buffalo, NY, and his ex-wife, Terry, Plover. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Burial will take place in the spring at the Veterans Cemetery at King, WI.
