Philip J. Doll
Amherst, WI (Formerly of Dubuque, IA) Age 51 – died on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born on November 3, 1958 in Dubuque, IA, the son of Robert and Patricia (Jans) Doll. He married Kristine Kunnert in 1983 in Dubuque, IA. Philip is survived by his wife; Kristi, children; Joe Doll, Jess Doll, Sam Doll, and Willie Doll, his mother; Patricia Doll of Dubuque, IA, brothers; Pete (Ann) Doll of Davenport, IA, and Tom (Mary Dodds) Doll of Excelsior, MN, and sisters; Paula (Peter) Doll-Wildenberg of St. Paul, MN, Barb (John Stelmasik) Doll of Eagan, MN, Janet (Rick) Brimeyer of Ames, IA, and Pam (Chris) Theisen of Dubuque, IA. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; Robert Doll. Philip was a loving husband and father, a coach, a friend, and a Hawkeye. A funeral mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:30 AM, with the Reverend Father Robert Pedretti, officiating. A visitation will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst on Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, and again on Monday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in the name of Philip J. Doll. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
