Philip J. Moe's Obituary
Philip J. Moe, age 89, of Waupaca WI passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 surrounded by his family at Bethany Home. Philip was born in the Town of Saint Lawrence, Waupaca County on January 16, 1929, the son of the late Palmer and Susanna (Riste) Moe. On April 3, 1954, Philip married Phyllis Peterson at Scandinavia Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on December 29, 2011. Philip farmed for several years and worked for Production Credit Association. He was a member of Farmington Lutheran Church. Philip is survived by his children, Pam (Ed) Morey, Tell City, Indiana; Jeff (Peggy) Moe, Waupaca; Debbie (Brian) Boettcher, Reedsville, WI and Cindy (Todd) Dailing, Fort Atkinson, WI; his eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and his sister, Marian (Earl) Breier, Waupaca and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father in law, Irving and Inga Peterson and three brothers, Ray Moe, Maynard Moe and Allan Moe. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 24 at 2 PM at Farmington Lutheran Church with Reverend Dale Wilson, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Sheridan Village Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and also on Saturday afternoon from 1 PM until the time of services at the church.
