Phyllis R. LaSage
Waupaca, WI age 85 – died on Friday, March 12, 2010 at her residence in Waupaca, WI. She was born on March 11, 1925, the daughter of Clyde and Edna (Ayers) LaBar. She married James LaSage on June 29, 1946 in Waupaca and they had been married for 63 years. Phyllis is survived by her husband; Jim, daughters; Renee (Tim) Hayes of Waupaca, and Paula (Mike Lawrence) LaSage of Waupaca, grandchildren; John (Jenny) Hayes of Appleton, Laura (Joe) Cruz of Madison, James Hayes of Port Washington, and Mike Gullixon, Jr of Waupaca, great grandchildren; Jordan Hayes, Jake Hayes, Nick Hayes, Alaina Hayes, Abigail Hayes, and Joey Gullixon, step great grandchildren; Joe Cruz, Jr and Julianna Cruz, a sister; Natalie Nelson of Oshkosh, and a brother; Bill LaBar of Green Bay. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister; LaVonne LaBar. Phyllis had been a registered nurse and worked in the former Waupaca Hospital operated by Drs. Boudry, Salan, and Patterson. She had also been Jim’s business partner for over 60 years. She had been very active with the VFW Auxiliary. A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 3:00 PM with Mr. Jeff Fletcher, officiating. Interment will be in the Crystal Lake Cemetery, Township of Dayton, Waupaca County. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
