R. Charlotte Johnson's Obituary
R. Charlotte Johnson, age 84, of King, formerly of Waupaca, passed away on Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Olson Hall, King. She was born in Thoreau, NM., on June 1, 1925, a daughter of the late Thomas and Blanche (Copelan) Biggs. Charlotte married Emory Johnson on September 11, 1943 in Phoenix, AZ. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1997. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stevens Point. Survivors include a Daughter: Charline (Dale Pagel) Schroeder, Neenah, WI; Son: Ronald (Sandra) Johnson, Iowa; Brother: Melvin Biggs, Taylor, AZ. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Charlotte was also preceded in death by a Great Granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 18th, 2010. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 (Noon) until the time of the service at the funeral home.
