Ralph Huettner's Obituary
Ralph E. Huettner, age 69, of Waupaca, WI., passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 16th, 2010 after a long fought battle with cancer, complicated by Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Theresa, WI., on January 18, 1941, a son of the late Elmer and Tillie (Baierl) Huettner. He married Elaine A. Seiler on October 6, 1962 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Theresa, WI. Ralph was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca. He graduated from Mayville High School. Ralph had worked for West Bend Company. He also worked for Level Valley Dairy in Jackson, WI. and Wohlt Cheese in New London. He enjoyed doing outdoor activities such as cutting wood, fishing, camping, biking, walking and gardening. Ralph loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his Wife: Elaine Huettner, Waupaca, WI; Children: Sherry (Skinny) Prinsen, Hingham, WI; Greg (Patti) Huettner, Grafton, WI; Jeff (LuAnn) Huettner, Oostburg, WI; Grandchildren: Amanda & Katie Prinsen; Eric & Lizzie Huettner; Josh & Abby Huettner; Brother: David (Karen) Huettner, Theresa, WI; Sister: Carol (Butch) Wietor, Brownsville, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rueben and Merlin Huettner. A Private Family Service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Saturday, June 19th, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given for research of Parkinson's Disease and Cancer.
