Ralph C. Morris' Obituary
Ralph C. Morris, age 66, of Wild Rose, WI passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 13, 2022. On August 6, 1987, he married Melinda Bowling in St. Charles, IL and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2022.
We are here today to celebrate and honor the life of Ralph Morris and to seek comfort as we grieve his loss. Ralph was born in St. Charles, IL and was the oldest of 4 children to his parents. His siblings include Joyce Scott, Karen Roethlisberger and Edward Roethlisberger. He is the stepfather of Tonya Williams and the father of Stephaine Flenz, and grandfather to Noah, Kaleb, Keaton and Cory. While dealing with 2 years of progressive cancer in multiple areas of his body, he unexpectedly lost his beloved wife Melinda earlier this year. Melinda and their daughter Stephanie became his caregivers over the past two years, accompanied by many friends and family members. His suffering over two years was exacerbated in the past month, especially after hearing the news of chemotherapy not helping him to win the battle over cancer. He succumbed to the full out invasion of cancer on Monday, June 13 at noon; his suffering was relieved by an early summer thunderstorm which served as his baptism into the kingdom of God. Quietly but moved by profound righteousness, the heavens opened up to receive Ralph. He moved from a life of suffering on Earth to a heavenly realm of reconciliation and love beyond what is humanly possible. Lord, we are grateful for your mercy and seek your comfort.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm at The Holly Funeral Home, 630 County Road GH, Wild Rose, WI 54984 with Reverend Jill Nowlen officiating.
