Ralph Stephens' Obituary
Ralph D. Stephens, age 79, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Sunday, February 13th, 2011 at Riverside Medical Center. He was born in Cornell, WI., on July 29, 1931, a son of the late William and Eva (Burns) Stephens. Ralph married Josephine Sikora on April 16, 1955 in Cornell, WI. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Ralph worked at the Waupaca Foundry for 28 years. He also painted many houses in Waupaca and the surrounding area. Survivors include his Wife: Josephine Stephens, Waupaca, WI; Children: James (Mary Alice) Stephens, Waupaca, WI; Jean (David) Huth, Mosinee, WI; Kathleen (Rick) Degen, Weston, WI; Mike Stephens, Ettrick, WI; Mary (Thomas) Hayes, Alma Center, WI; Scott (Kandice) Stephens, Sayner, WI; Sister: Jeri Theide, Menomonie, WI; Brothers-in-law: Charlie Sikora, Cadott, WI; Louie (Anna) Sikora, Cadott, WI; Sisters-in-law: Victoria Gindt, Cadott, WI; Sylvia Kvapil, Cadott, WI; Edna Sikora, Cornell, WI; Grandchildren: Michael (Jamie) Stephens; Joshua (Julie) Stephens; Daniel (Kayla) Huth; Erica Huth; Samantha Degen; Jessica Degen; Ashley (Matthew) Ditscheit; Justin Stephens; Nikki Stephens; Kaite Stephens-Hayes and Bradley Stephens. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Arthur, Keith and Vern. Private Family Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, WI.
