Raymond Block's Obituary
Raymond Block, age 81, of Wisconsin Veterans Home passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at the Veterans Home. Raymond was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 29, 1925 the son of the late John and Lucy (Olszewski) Block. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca, WI. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his Nephew: James T. Block of McHenry, Illinois. A Memorial Mass will be on Friday, September 8 at 1:30 PM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home Main Chapel with Father Roy Geenen officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Farmington.
