Raymond Carden's Obituary
Raymond O. Carden, age 95, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab. Center. Raymond was born in Wood County, WI on September 15, 1912, the son of the late David and Willetta (Murphy) Carden. On May 7, 1949 Raymond married Alice Pommer in Waupaca and she preceded him in death on December 30, 1995. Raymond was a member of Parfreyville United Methodist Church. Raymond is survived by many special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Also, Raymond and Alice raised James Jorgenson from the time he was 10 years old. Raymond was also preceded in death by his brothers, Russell, Ralph and Lester Carden. Funeral Service will be on Monday, Feb. 25 at 11 AM at Parfreyville United Methodist Church with Reverend Joan Frost, officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Elmwood Cemetery in the Town of Belmont. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
