HAMMY was more than a friend
Almost to say a brother,
For when we first met
He & Billie lived with his mother,
In the metropolis of Sheridan
Off highway 54 West,
Of all the great folk in Waupaca
HAMMY's the friend that's best.
A "card player", "bartender"
"NAVY vet" & "fisherman too,
Poygan, Winnebago & B.d.M.
Wolf, Fox & Wis. to name a few,
These Lakes & Rivers
We fished every year,
Lakes Matanga, Crandon &
Franklin, Eagle River we steered
Certainly a lot of good memories...as well as a few vacancies. If you can remember the 60's, you weren't really there. :) One day we were out in the woods by the Radley with my dad's new Colt 45. Ray was going to demonstrate his fast draw from the western holster and dropped the gun in the mud! Ever since I would refer to him as "Fast draw Parker", much to his delight. I concur with Grove...rest in peace my friend. You will be missed...for now. [email protected]
